Quiltistry Event

June 24 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Held every other year in the summer, Quiltistry combines “quilting” with “artistry.”  The goal is to showcase our rich heritage, beautiful historic sites and the depth of the many talented quilters in the area.  Quilts displayed throughout the city, a bed turning and demonstrations all make up this creative event.  Historic quilt display sites include:  Schell’s Brewery and Gardens, Hermann Monument, Glockenspiel and Schonlau Park, Wanda Gag House, Kiesling House and a mid-1800’s One-Room Schoolhouse.  Start and end your Quiltistry Passport at one of the three unique quilt shops conveniently located within one mile . . . Sewing Seeds Quilt Company, Spinning Spools and The Thimble Box!  Complete your passport to receive a fat quarter bundle and be eligible for a drawing to receive 1 of 3 $100 gift certificates!  Plan for a day or stay the weekend!  This event will be held rain or shine.
