Sewing for Sight Event

ATTENTION QUILTERS AND QUILT ADMIRERS:

You are invited to attend the 6th Annual Sewing for Sight Quilt Show to be held Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 1-5:00PM. This show will be held at the St. George Parish Center, featuring more than 200 quilts by The Fischer Sisters of Sleepy Eye, MN (Carol Waibel, Kathy Morris, JoAnn Eischen and Donna Dewanz) and also the Sewing for Sight Retreat Participants.  A Quilter’s Second-Hand Boutique featuring fabric, books, patterns, notions and more, The Homespun Café serving coffee, desserts and refreshments, Independent Consultants and a Silent Auction will also be available.  NEW this year will be The Quilted Market, offering quilted items available for sale and ready for use!  Admission is only $5.00 to experience all of this goodness and creativity.

All proceeds from this event will be directed to the Foundation for Saving Sight and their ongoing mission to provide sight-saving eye care to the villagers of San-Lucas-Toliman, Guatemala.  Whether or not you are able to attend the event, financial contributions (both personal and business) are greatly appreciated.  Donations can be mailed or delivered to Sewing Seeds Quilt Company at 1417 South State Street, New Ulm, MN 56073.  Please make checks payable to Sewing for Sight.  This event is co-sponsored by St. George Catholic United Financial and Sewing Seeds Quilt Company.  For more information, please contact us at 507-354-8801.  Listen to KNUJ Radio for weather related announcements.
