Traditional quilters never tire of red & light and blue & light quilts, or Americana patriotics. For this collection, Pam Buda gathered inspiration from her own archives of 19th century quilts, re-coloring some of her all-time in red, blue and lights for a classic, traditional look. Pam explains, “I chose to name the collection for Bess because many of the prints I chose to recolor are from Mrs. Miller’s Apprentice. Mrs. Miller’s name was Elizabeth, but everyone called her Bess, and she would have loved this collection, too!”
