Sarah Maxwell considers a fresh approach to reproduction quilt fabrics with Full Circle, inspired in part by her own stash of treasured Judie Rothermel prints, in part by input from other reproduction stashers wanting new ideas and inspiration to create exciting new masterpiece quilts, and in part by feedback from younger quilters wanting to use repro designs in their projects, but wanting a slightly brighter, more contemporary palette for home décor and heirloom projects. The result, says Sarah, is “my salute to all the work and artistry of a quilting legend, and, it’s a statement that reproduction fabrics will always continue to be a meaningful part of the quilt world.” These are some of the very best prints from Judie’s archives, subtly re-colored to appeal to a wider range of quilters.
